With the adoption of the Last.fm beta website many things changed. Part of the changes was the removal of the customizable About me section in user profiles. For Last.fm Badges this means the predominant use case is gone.
Last.fm Badges will stay inactive for now. If at any point in the future Last.fm chooses to let users add external content to their profiles again I might decide to bring back an updated version of Last.fm Badges.
